4e ~ Line Art ~ Pyramid of Shadows (Spoilers) by Drowin 4e ~ Line Art ~ Pyramid of Shadows (Spoilers) by Drowin
Okay, the image itself is spoilerific if you haven't reached a certain point in H3 - Pyramid of Shadows. So don't read any further if the image hasn't spoiled the surprise already.

Okay, so here's the lineart for a comic I drew up after my friends reached this point in the adventure. Their reactions were too good not to immortalize and I got carried away drawing the circumstances.

Well, I'd like to apologies for the spoilers for anyone happening on this. I don't know how to hide text.

The party got trapped in an extra-dimensional pyramid, mostly by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. One of the first things they found in the pyramid was a cantaloupe sized crystal ball filled with milky black smoke, inside which was what appeared to be the floating dismembered head. The head was a princess, Vyrellis, who was betrothed to the intended victim of the prison like pyramid, the wizard Karavakos. When Karavakos found himself and his would-be bride ensorcelled, the wizard used his betrothed in an experiment meant to escape, rending her into several pieces: her intelligence (head), her soul (heart), and several other pieces including her physical form (her body).

The party became determined to reunite the pieces of Vyrellis in an effort to restore her; so when they found the body of the princess, there were relieved sighs punctuated by paranoid trepidation. When the group entered the area, Vyrellis suddenly flew from the hands of the party wizard (who had been using her as a confidant and arcane focus) and embedded in the chest of her body. Karavakos had trapped the body in case someone tried to restore Vyrellis, who had failed to mention her vow of murderous vengeance on the wizard who tore her body apart.

Thus, the party was then forced to fight the body of Vyrellis, all whilst her head is wailing apologies for attacking and pleading for the party to be merciful on her body in hopes that she could be reunited properly with it.
